Born out of generations of bird hunting legacy throughout Southside Virginia, It was no surprise that Adyson chose breeding GSP puppies as her FFA  Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) project.  The joy of shooting flushing birds over working dogs has left memories that will never fade.  The versatility of GSPs also yields great turkey and waterfowl dogs.  Their social demeanor allows them to be at ease snuggling on the couch in front of a warm fire as well.  This breed has stolen the hearts and minds of hunters and outdoor enthusiasts alike.  Metts Ridge's GSP was founded in 2019 by Adyson Metts with the first litter born Early 2021.
